Sandestin
Here is a review I created on my old blog about Sandestin Resort in 2009. I stand by this review over ten years later! One of most beautiful beach family vacation we’ve taken in the United States was a trip to Destin, Florida when we stayed at Sandestin resort. Not Hawaii, not the Florida Keys or Sunny California—-Destin,Florida. The sugar white beaches of Destin rival any beach in the Carribean and the water is sparkling blue-green.
Sandestin Resort is the place to go in Destin. I just recommended the resort to a friend today.
Besides the beautiful, white beaches, Sandestin Resort is heaven for families. We had bikes the whole time we were there and road our bikes everywhere within the Sandestin compound. Within the resort, there’s tennis, swimming, games, shops, restaurants, golf—-it’s a little village within the town of Destin and we LOVED it. Here were some of the highlights of Sandestin, for our family:
The Village of Baytowne Wharf is place to shop, eat and drink within the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. You can find family fun here or parents night out. The Baytowne Wharf rocked.
Fishing–Sandestin had little docks the kids could fish from AND the people at Sandestin were totally hooked in to the deep sea fishing, bay fishing or any kind of fishing you want. My oldest daughter is a fishing maniac, and loved all the different options the resort could provide to fish.
The BEACH, baby-I need to find our family pics from our Destin vacation. You won’t believe the sand and water. It’s heaven and I wish I was going back NOW.
