Note: I’ve seen some bloggers that use lemon juice or vinegar to clean slipcovers but clearly those people never met Lucy or Edmond. Our beloved pups are masters of getting the furniture dirty and I’ve found the OxyClean solutions to be the ONLY way to get my slipcovers clean.
When it comes time to dry your slipcovers, I always hang them up to dry rather than throwing them in the dryer. This allows the fabric more time to air out, which helps prevent mildew growth. If you’re in a pinch and need them dry faster, try setting your dryer on low heat with no heat added.
